MEMBERSHIP

Active Members

Active membership in Alamogordo Lodge 30 is open to eligible law enforcement officers who are regularly appointed or elected and serve full-time in the law enforcement profession.

Active members are sworn law enforcement officers who meet the required standards, training, and education of their agency or jurisdiction and who are granted arrest powers. Full-time service generally means law enforcement is the member’s full-time occupation, including officers who may serve with multiple agencies and average at least 30 hours per week.

Active members are the voting members of the Lodge and may participate fully in Lodge business, meetings, committees, events, programs, and fraternal activities.

Associate Members

Associate membership is available to individuals who are recommended by an active member and who support the object and purpose of the Fraternal Order of Police.

Associate members provide valuable support to Alamogordo Lodge 30 through community involvement, volunteer service, fundraising assistance, charitable programs, and support for law enforcement families and initiatives.

Retired Members

Retired membership is available to eligible former active members or full-time sworn law enforcement officers with arrest powers who retired in good standing.

Retired members remain an important part of Alamogordo Lodge 30’s fraternal mission, history, mentorship, and service to the law enforcement community. Retired members may be appointed to special committees by the President or Vice President and may participate in committee matters during that appointment.

Auxiliary Members

The Alamogordo Lodge 30 Auxiliary is made up of family members of Lodge members who support the mission, values, and charitable work of the Fraternal Order of Police.

Auxiliary members help strengthen the Lodge through volunteer service, community events, family support, fundraising, charitable programs, and fraternal activities. The Auxiliary operates under the supervision of Alamogordo Lodge 30 and works in support of the Lodge.
